FeUniform scrap of the highest purity

Low-residual scrap

Low-residual scrap is essential in steelmaking: it guarantees high purity and quality in the recycled material, which improves melting and the quality of the steel produced. This standard is key to the industry’s efficiency and sustainability.

What it is

Definition and industrial context.

It is selected ferrous scrap with very low levels of residual elements: uniform material made up of industrial offcuts from new production. That is why it is essential for special steels and demanding foundries.

Industrial process

From incoming material to processed grade.

01

Industrial processing

We sort materials before processing and store them separately. Our 600 to 1,000-tonne shears and our balers for stamping offcuts (300×300 to 400×400) prepare the material, and we keep plenty of stock of the main grades.

Industrial applications

High-grade steelworks and special steels

/ 02

Grey and ductile iron foundries with strict requirements

/ 03

Alloy correction in electric arc furnaces
